A Series of Activities for Singles Begins 4/13 at the TheodoreD.YoungCommunity Center “Dating Strategies for Single Parents Workshop Offered at Theodore D. Young Community Center on April 13th, 7:30pm” The Town of Greenburgh is restarting programs for singles with a series of special events which begin at the Theodore D. Young Community Center. The goal of this effort is to have regularly scheduled activities which focus on fellowship, networking, and an exchange of information and resources which support singles. The Workshop will include a roundtable discussion on specific ways to meet people, plus focus on accessing if one’s is ready to date. The Event will also be used as a means of getting feedback from those in attendance to help set direction for future activities. For more information call 989-3622 “Singles Lunch/ Outing” Date: April 22nd, 2007 Day/Time; Sunday, 12:30pm We meet at “Pizza and Brew” on Central Ave, Greenburgh for lunch and then go to the “Earth Day Celebration” at the Greenburgh Nature Center. “Lunch/ Golf Outing” Date: May 5th, 2007, 1pm We meet at ”September”s on 9A, Elmsford for lunch, then go to Fairview Golf Center on 300 Waterside Drive, Elmsford for mini-golf and to use the driving range. “Workshop; Safety Tips for Singles” Date; May 11th, 2007 Day/Time; Friday 7:30pm Location; Greenburgh Police Department, Rt 119, Greenburgh Protect yourself from identity thief, how to be safe when using internet or other dating services, plus precautions to take as a single person. The session will also include a sharing of resources of singles of singles. After the workshop, the group will meet at “City Limits” Dinner, Rt 119 for coffee and desert. “Dear Abby Afternoon” Date; May 26th, 2007 Day/Time: Saturday 1pm Location; Greenburgh Town Hall, Hillside Ave, Greenburgh Have a problem?
