Over the years the town has received complaints from residents who reside in different neighborhoods about flooding. I am very pleased to announce that a resident, Paula Cook of Parkway Homes, has agreed to accept an appointment as volunteer Assistant Supervisor for flood relief.

Paula will help develop a strategy for short term and long term solutions. We recognize that this is a major problem that will require federal, state & county help. Senator Clinton’s office, Congresswoman Lowey’s office, representatives of the county (including Legislator Lois Bronz) attended. We want to keep the momentum going…. Your help is appreciated.
