Town Board to hold special meeting Thursday evening

The Greenburgh Town Board held a special meeting Tuesday evening, Aug. 22 to consider a temporary location for the Greenburgh Public Library. At the request of Supervisor Feiner, who is on vacation, the Town Board held over the discussion and decision on the temporary location for the Greenburgh Public Library.

A special meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 24 at 8 p.m. at Greenburgh Town Hall for the purpose of discussing and voting on a temporary location.

At Tuesday’s meeting, the Town Board authorized the solicitation of a request for proposals for the purpose of retaining the services of an attorney or legal firm fully familiar with and engaged in the practice of the field of construction work, including examination and review of construction related materials and documents as the renovation and construction of the library will involve multiple complex construction contracts.
