GREENBURGH HAS A POET LAUREATE

Brenda Connor-Bey has been named by the Greenburgh Arts and Culture Committee as Greenburgh’s first poet laureate. Ms. Connor Bey’s inauguration ceremony into her 2 year volunteer position will take place on September 13th at 7 PMat GreenburghTown Hall. Ms. Connor Bey is the author of many poems. As Poet Laureate  Brenda Connor Bey Miller will read her works to the public and promote poetry.

The Greenburgh Arts & Culture Committee, chaired by Sarah Bracey White, has worked hard over the years to promote arts and culture throughout the town. The Town Hall and municipal buildings have become art galleries. We have children’s art galleries, kids short story programs, writing workshops, art workshops for homeless children, poetry competitions, sculpture programs and much more…We want Greenburgh to be the arts and culture capitol of Westchester!
