On April 8, 1997(over 9 years ago) a long form Environmental Assessment Form was submitted by Avalon Green II to build 794 units of housing off TaxterRoad. There have been numerous meetings, hearings, discussions on this application. Compromises have been made with the E Irvingtoncivic association. The current proposal: 444 units off TaxterRoad. At last night’s Town Board meeting the Town Board unanimously approved a resolution accepting the Avalon Green II Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) as complete.
