INFO ON EDGEMONT COLORS AGAINST CANCER 5 K...

Sophia Chu, a student at Edgemont HS has asked that we publicize a fun 5K run. The Colors Against Cancer 5K is right around the corner, and we would love for you to join us! This event is a 5K color run that honors Taylor Matthews, an Edgemont student who passed away at age 16 from cancer. All the money we raise from the 5K goes directly to The Taylor Matthews Foundation, which funds research to fight pediatric cancer.

Participants can walk, run or jog, and they get showered in non-toxic colored powder as they make their way along the route. It's an amazing way to support an amazing cause. The Colors Against Cancer 5K will take place on Sunday, May 19th from 9:00 am -11:00 am at Edgemont Junior-Senior High School. You can register to run for $25 online or you can register when you arrive at EHS on the day of the event. T-shirts can also be bought for $10 at the run. We hope to see you there!
