If garbage is normally collected on your street on Monday's it will be collected today. Trucks may start picking up garbage a little later than usual due to the weather. Easter Monday used to be a holiday for sanitation crews. Not anymore, thanks to a contractual agreement with the Teamsters. The snow came down heavy this morning. Our crews were out early. If your street is still not in great shape, don't worry. Our crews won't stop until all the roads are in great shape. Most of the roads around town are passable. Sorry for any inconvenience.
