Good news! Was advised by reliable sources that Governor will sign an executive order authorizing prepayment of 2018 property taxes before the end of this year! Order is expected to be signed today. If the order is signed (as expected) I will post info on the town website www.greenburghny.com. I’m so excited. This will help taxpayers in Greenburgh save significant dollars by getting a deduction on their property taxes in 2017. As you know, the new tax code won’t allow for deductions over $10,000 in 2018 so the executive order enables taxpayers to save some money. Thank you, Governor and thanks to the hundreds of residents who highlighted the impact the new tax code will have on their lives. PAUL FEINER
