YOUR SAFETY IS IMPORTANT --FREE REFLECTORS BEING DISTRIBUTED --ALSO WEAR BRIGHT CLOTHING
Release Date: October 23, 2017

IT’S GETTING DARK OUT EARLIER - NEED A REFLECTOR SO CARS CAN SEE YOU?  PICK ONE UP AT TOWN HALL  If you  are walking around town in the evening  try not to wear dark clothing at night. Many drivers can’t see people who are wearing dark outfits. A few years ago a young man was killed in a hit and run accident while walking in the middle of the night.

Earlier this year Phelps Hospital donated reflectors that we have been distributing at Town Hall. The police have been distributing the reflectors when they see pedestrians walking late at night. In recent weeks (since it's bee getting darker earlier) we have given out lots of free reflectors at Town Hall. And, on Saturday --during our Spooktober festival at Hartsbrook Park - we gave free reflectors to many of the 1,800 attendees. You should also wear bright clothing when walking at night.

The reflectors can be picked up for FREE at the lobby of Town Hall.  These reflectors can save lives. For more information please e mail me at pfeiner@greenburghny.com

Your safety is of great importance to all of us.
