WESTCHSETER DISABLED ON THE MOVE--A GREAT RESOURCE FOR THE DISABLED

Westchester Disabled on the Move is one of the best kept secrets in the county. For those who know about the organization (and there are many), they know that this non profit does a terrific job of enhancing the quality of life for the physically challenged.  The organization provides residents who have disabilities with important services and programs.

 

They help people with disabilities through various free programs they  administer.

They are organizing an event this Thursday August 3rd from 7:30 PM to 10 PM at Yonkers Brewing Company. If you have a disability, have family members or friends who are disabled – this organization could be of great help to you.  Over the years I have forwarded many problems to Westchester Disabled on the Move and have been most impressed with the work they do for others—changing lives for the better.  Hope to see you this Thursday evening!

 

REMINDER—The town of Greenburgh police department is sponsoring their second annual national night out tomorrow evening at Greenburgh Town Hall, 177 Hillside Ave beginning at 6 PM.  This is a great opportunity to interact with the police, to learn about police services that are available to you and to support your police department.  There will be a free cookout for those who attend and info that can help you learn how to reduce the chances of a burglary, vehicle larcency prevention. Hope to see you tomorrow evening.
