Received an advisory from Con Ed. They -along with the town- are monitoring the extreme heat t currently impacting our region as well as possible storms expected this evening. They have augmented thier staffing levels in preparation. If there are power outages the town works with a municipal government liaison assigned by Con Ed. In recent years the town and Con Ed have had an excellent working relationship.
