STAR OF MISS SAIGON TO BE HONORED BY TOWN BD TONIGHT--HE'S 5 YEARS OLD.. NEW JUDGE SWEARING IN
Release Date: June 28, 2017

We have an interesting Town Board meeting tonight. We will start the Board meeting honoring one of the stars of the Broadway hit -- Miss Saigon, Samuel Li Weintraub.  Samuel has accomplished a lot in his life --even though he's only five. And he participates in the Greenburgh school district early childhood program.

Sam plays the role of Tam, the son of the tragic heroine in Miss Saigon. Sam will be one of the youngest honorees in town history!

At the Town Board meeting we will also vote to appoint Bonnie Orden as our interim Town Justice, replacing Walter Rivera who was confirmed as a Judge of the New York State Court of Claims last week. Bonnie will be sworn in after her appointment is approved by the Town Board members. She has outstanding credentials and we think she will be a terrific Judge. Bonnie has an accomplished attorney, prosecutor and former member of the Edgemont School Board.

Our meeting starts at 7:30 PM. And citizen input on town issues is always welcome and appreciated.
