In recent months a number of residents of McLean Ave have complained about the condition of 62 McLean Ave. The Building department has inspected the property and has deemed it to be unsafe. We are planning to take action to demolish the building. A public hearing has been set for Wednesday June 28 at 7:30 PM at Town Hall authorizing the Building Inspector/Town Engineer to issue a request for proposals for the demolition of the building and assessing all costs and expenses against the property owners. This is the second building that will be demolished at the urging of the Building department in recent months. Earlier this year we took action and demolished an abandoned home on Teramar Way. You are invited to attend and speak at this hearing. Thanks for your input! Greenburgh Police Captain Glenn Bryan is retiring after years of dedicated service to the town.
