Can Greenburgh be run better? More efficiently? Last year we hired an independent firm to conduct an internal review of the Town Court. The firm made recommendations--most have been implemented. At the last meeting of the Town Board the Board voted to hire Woodard Curran Engineering PA , PC to review the operations and organizational structure of the Department of Public Works and to make recommendations for improvements associated with alternative business practices and strategies. The cost $64,400. A group of citizens, many with financial and management expertise, helped the town prepare an RFP and interviewed competing companies before selecting this firm. We will be conducting independent reviews of different departments each year. We welcome constructive suggestions on how to give you more value for your tax dollars.
