Rivertownsguide.com lists some very interesting and fun weekend activities which I hope you'll enjoy. Two highlights: The Hastings on Hudson farmer's market and the Irvington farmer's market. The Irvington farmer's market used to be held on Wednesday's. Now-- it's going to be held on Sunday's. If you haven't been to a farmer's market in Hastings or Irvington- and if you stop by you'll feel you are on vacation. Both farmer's markets are very special --enjoy the scenic Hudson River views and charming downtowns. Shop locally. WHILE YOU ARE IN HASTINGS YOU CAN DO SOME SHREDDING---THE COUNTY MOBILE SHREDDER WILL BE IN HASTINGS TOMORROW. ADVICE: get there early because the shredders leave when they are fill. Saturday, May 30 from 11am - 12pm and...remember Bicycle Sunday this Sunday. Bronx River Parkway closed on Sunday for cyclists. And---the town pool is open tomorrow and Sunday.
