BENEDICT AVE SIDEWALKS UPDATE---TOWN BOARD WORK SESSION JANUARY 20TH AT 9:30 am
Release Date: January 14, 2015

The members of the Greenburgh Town Board will be meeting with the Commissioner of Planning this coming Tuesday  January 20th at 9:30 AM to discuss a long standing concern of residents who live on or near Benedict Ave—sidewalks.
When Shoprite was approved a promise was made to install a sidewalk and curbing along Benedict Ave to Maple  Ave, as well as along the as the side of Benedict Ave from the intersection of White Plains Road (Route 119 to Woodfield Terrace and along Old White Plains Road from Benedict Ave to White Plains Road (Route 119).  These referenced new sidewalks will complement the Brightview related and NYSDOT approved sidewalks that are scheduled to be constructed this spring.
We haven’t forgotten the promises made and have asked the Commissioner of Planning to provide the Board with a time table for the implementation of all the sidewalks that were promised during the approval process.  You are invited to attend the work session. Or…you can watch our meeting on public access TV or on the web (our work sessions are streamed live and archived on the town website: www.greenburghny.com).
Thanks so much for your patience. We won’t let you down.

Many residents ask – when can they shred documents? Where will the county mobile shredder be next… this is the county wide calendar.
