Many celebrities have visited Greenburgh over the years. Former First Lady (and US Senator) Hillary Clinton spoke at the Theodore Young Community Center and at the Greenburgh Health Center a few times. The Elmsford Little League has attracted baseball greats Mariano Rivera, Paul O’Neill and Tommy LaSorda among others. - Steve Carell, Ellen Page, Julianne Moore, and Michael Shannon recently filmed a movie at the Theodore Young Community Center. And, President Obama spoke in Tarrytown this spring!
But –none of the celebrities made housecalls to the general public. Fairview Fire Chief Howard Reiss has advised me that Santa Claus has arranged a partnership with the Fairview Fire department—this weekend he will be delivering candy cones and will be travelling around town on a fire truck. He’s going to you…you don’t have to go to him! His schedule is posted below.
