Story Corp Story Corps is a national project to instruct and inspire people to record each other’s stories in sound. Story Corps is opening soundproof booths across the country where people can record broadcast-quality oral history interviews with older relatives and other loved ones, with the guidance of a trained facilitator. At the booth the facilitator helps create a question list and handles the technical aspects of the recording. At the end of the forty-minute session, the participants receive a CD of their interview. With their permission, a copy is added to the story Corps Archive, housed at the American Folk life Center at the Library of Congress. This collection will eventually grow into an oral history of America. Contact Judy Glinert for more information
