CREWS WORKING SATURDAY ON DEBRIS, LEAF PICK UP

We have authorized overtime on Saturday so that we can continue to make progress re: debris, leaf pick up. The October storm caused significant damage around town. It's an extremely slow and time consuming process --picking up leaves and the heavy downed branches. We have a limited number of workers, equipment and trucks and am trying hard to pick up everything as quickly as possible. I am sorry that it is taking so long -other communities around the region are also experiencing similar problems.
After we clean the entire town once, we will be back --until all debris, leaves are moved. We're making progress, but it is very slow.
TELL YOUR LANDSCAPER that it takes a number of weeks to get back to an area after it was cleaned. We are a large town. Sometimes we clear debris/leaves on a street and a half hour after it's cleaned up the gardeners are putting more leaves in front of homes.
