The Town Board will hold our next work session on Tuesday, June 28th at 9:30 AM. Among topics to be discussed: possible revisions to our ethics code, the WESTHELP property (the county is closing down WESTHELP at the end of September---town will lose $1.2 million a year in rent unless we rent the property to another tenant. We have found a possible tenant who is interested in the property. They are requesting access to the facility). Some student interns have been working with Town Clerk Judith Beville, reviewing our current website: www.greenburghny.com. They will be making some recommendations as to how we can make the site more customer friendly. The meeting on Tuesday will be shorter than usual ---there is a ground breaking ceremony for the new STOP & SHOP supermarket that is being built on 119 (next to the Sheraton Hotel on the Greenburgh/Tarrytown border. Our friends at the Greenville Volunteer Fire Company are running their annual blood drive at the firehouse next week as follows: The Company would appreciate it if you would make an announcement for them via your global mailing list in the next day or so. Have a great weekend! PAUL FEINER
