In order to fill a current vacancy on the Library Board, the Greenburgh Public Library Board of Trustees is seeking a resident of unincorporated Greenburgh to serve out the remainder of a term on the Board of Trustees. The current term runs through December 31, 2012. NYS Education Law authorizes the Board of Trustees to fill a vacancy created by a resignation.

All submitted resumes will be reviewed, interviews will be scheduled and the Greenburgh Town Council will be informed of the appointment by December 1, 2010.

The Library is governed by a Board of Trustees consisting of seven to nine residents of unincorporated Greenburgh.
