Lawsuit against town re: Taxter Ridge dismissed

Judge J. Molea, Justice of the Supreme Court has dismissed the first of two lawsuits that Robert Bernstein filed against Supervisor Paul Feiner re: Taxter Ridge park acquisition. The petitioner had claimed that the town improperly denied him access to records. Justice Molea indicated in his ruling that the "petitioner failed to properly invoke the provisions of the Freedom of Information Law" and that the petitioner failed to "exhaust his administrative remedies."
