The Greenburgh Town Board voted to authorize Supervisor Paul Feiner to execute documents to effectuate the receipt of contributions to pay for the construction of the 9/11 memorial mural to be placed at Webb Field. Supervisor Feiner approached Rotary International District 7230 about making a donation. The district reached out to Rotarian K.C. Leung who will be making a $30,000 individual donation in memory of his wife Moo-kit Tsui Leung. The Rotary District will contribute the balance of the funds with the understanding that it can place upon the rear side of the memorial wall appropriate memorial Rotarian messages. The wall will cost about $43,900 to build. A ground breaking ceremony is scheduled for 9/11 at Webb Field at noon. Nearly 2000 individual tiles will be placed on the l00' wall highlighting individual artists impressions of 9/11.
