Greenburgh Town Board 9/23 and 9/24 Meeting Documents Posted
Release Date: September 22, 2008

The amount of information provided you online has been enhanced even more, requiring the heading to be changed to “Town Board Meeting Documents,” instead of just “Town Board Meeting Resolutions.” In addition to the resolutions that will be considered at this Tuesday’s special Town Board meeting and this Wednesday’s regular Town Board meeting, the Cablevision contract that will be considered at the Wednesday night Public Hearing has been posted. A copy of the Tentative Agenda has also been posted with the resolutions for easy retrieval. Decisions of the Board regarding prior Public Hearing topics will also be posted under the same heading when available.

Resolutions CD-1 and CD-2 are decisions regarding a petition by Westhab to rezone property at 22 Tarrytown Road. Those decisions are still under consideration by the Town Board, as is a decision on water rate increases. The Public Hearing record closed on these issues last Thursday. Town Board members need to complete their review of the record and then discuss potential findings at Tuesday’s Work Session.  A copy of the decisions will be posted after a majority of the Board decides what those decisions will be.  If the text of the decisions is finalized by the Town Board's September 24, 2008 meeting, they will be subject to approval at that meeting.

Meeting documents have been posted in their entirety on the Town’s Web site for exceptionally easy access without you having to file a FOI (Freedom of Information) request. Please check out the Town’s Web site to learn more about issues under consideration at our meetings. I have also attached background documentation, viewable by a simple mouse click, for the resolutions where applicable. Due to scan problems over the weekend, I could not add background documents to the two tax certiorari resolutions (AT-1 and AT-3). The background documents will be added this (Monday) evening.
