Greenburgh Town Board 8/12/2008 Meeting Resolutions Posted
Release Date: August 10, 2008

This morning the full text of all resolutions that appear on the Tentative Agenda for this Tuesday’s (8/12/2008, 2:00PM) Town Board Special Meeting at Town Hall, 177 Hillside Avenue, were posted on the Town’s Web site, www.GreenburghNY.com, for your consideration more than 72 hours in advance of the meeting. Four of the five resolutions simply authorize Public Hearings to be held at one of our three September Town Board meetings to formally obtain public input on the agenda items.  The fifth resolution involves a $10,050 transfer to balance funds related to the nutrition program.

One of the four Public Hearings that is being set is for the revised petition submitted yesterday by Westhab, Inc. regarding property located at 22 Tarrytown Road.  A separate email will be sent regarding the revised proposal.  All the board is doing this Tuesday is setting the Public Hearing date for Thursday, September 4, 2008, at 8:30 PM, to obtain public input on the revised plans.  Additional testimony on the petition will also  be taken at our meeting on Wednesday, September 10, 2008, at 8:30 PM.  We arranged in advance for the follow-up Public Hearing meeting date to accommodate those residents who may not be able to attend the September 4 meeting.

The resolutions for this Tuesday may be accessed by clicking in the box titled “Upcoming Town Board Resolutions” located on the right side of the Town’s homepage, by clicking “Documents & Forms” on the left side of the homepage, or by simply clicking here, which will take you directly to the “Documents & Forms” page.

The posting of resolutions in detail in advance of the meeting is part of the Town Board’s continuing efforts to keep the public informed. We trust you find the information helpful and this method of distribution convenient.

As always, should you have any questions or comments, you may email the entire Town Board by emailing TownBoard@GreenburghNY.com, or by replying to this email and I will forward your response.
