Generator to be installed at town hall at 4 PM FRIDAY- BUILDING WILL BE CLOSED AT 4
Release Date: September 20, 2007

Most municipal buildings in Westchester do not have emergency generators. Last year, during the Con Ed power failures, the Eastchester Police Dept had no power! Greenburgh is taking action to make sure that our government continues to be able to provide services to residents during power failures and emergencies. A generator will be installed at Town Hall tomorrow Friday at 4 PM.  All our computer serversand network devices including the internet and the e mail server will be shut at 3:30 PM. The power to the Town Hall building will be shut at 4 PM.

I will be closing the building at 4 PM. Employees will be asked to make up the extra hour before the end of the year.

PAUL FEINER,

Greenburgh Town Supervisor
