RESULTS OF COLUMBIA AVENUE SNOW PARKING SURVEY
During the week of March 5th, police officers hand delivered a survey to Columbia Avenue residents soliciting their input as to whether their street should be included in any change to the Snow Parking Regulations that may be proposed for East Hartsdale Avenue. A self-addressed, postage paid envelope was included with the survey and residents were asked to return the completed document by the close of business on March 16th. Following are the results of that survey.
Number of Surveys Distributed 93
Number of Households Required for Inclusion 61 (66% of 93)
Number of Surveys Returned 42 (45% of total)
Number of Surveys for Inclusion 23 (17 from 1-11 Columbia)
Number of Surveys Against Inclusion 19
In light of these results, Columbia Avenue will NOT be included in any change to the
Snow Parking Regulations that may be proposed for East Hartsdale Avenue.
