Now that that warm weather is about to break – it’s time to think about snow and snow angels. During the past 15 years I have helped organize a snow angel program. Snow angels volunteer their time and assist the elderly/disabled clear their driveways/walkways of snow. Some of the recipients of the program are frail elderly who depend on a clear driveway/walkway for food/emergency services. Some can pay for the services. Others can’t afford to pay anyone to help them out. If you are willing to volunteer your time to the snow angel program please e mail me at pfeiner@greenburghny.com. If you are a student and are willing to have your name posted on a web site you should also provide me with a letter from your parents authorizing your name to be posted as a member of the snow angel program. Last year the snow angel concept took off in Dobbs Ferry – a very successful student run snow angel program was established, thanks to the villageof Dobbs Ferry.
