We're just about one week away from the Opening Party for the Hastings Village Art's Commission big fall art exhibition, the third in an annual series highlighting a Hasting's luminary in words and pictures. This year, we raise the curtain on Billie Burke, the adored stage and screen star who called Burkeley Crest on Farragut Avenue home for many years, on the occasion of the 80th Anniversary of the movie classic The Wizard of Oz.
We're so pleased to have produced this exhibition, We're Not in Kansas Anymore: Journeys To Places Real and Imagined, in partnership with the Hastings Historical Society -- our collaboration is the perfect marriage of art and history.
Please join us at the Opening Party on Thursday, Sept. 12th, 6-8 pm at Village Hall.
