A few weeks ago a national magazine contacted me about an interview I conducted with Dr. Ed Zuckerberg, father of Mark way back in 2011. They are doing some research in preparation for a story about the Zuckerberg family. I have a weekly radio show on WVOX radio and the interview with Dr. Zuckerberg was the first interview he gave about his son. I didn't make a copy of the tape. But, Alan Brody -a former resident of Greenburgh recently located the interview (his daughter was present during the interview--she was writing an article for the Scarsdale Inquirer). I sent the reporter the story, thanks to Alan's help. Here is the you tube video and two stories from 2011! Mark and his parents lived in Greenburgh--(village of Dobbs Ferry, Ardsley school district). Dr. Zuckerberg was a well liked dentist. Many constituents and some town employees used him as their dentist and mentioned how modest the family was.
If you are interested in learning more about Mark's early experiences this you tube interview might be something you will enjoy listening to. It's interesting - especially since Facebook has been in the news this past week. Mark Zuckerberg is just one of many former Greenburgh residents who became national or international figures.
