Hastings on Hudson is a charming village within the town overlooking the Palisades & the Hudson River. On the Sunday before every Memorial day the village holds a very meaningful Memorial Day celebration. Today, at 2 PM the village will sponsor their annual parade and ceremony. Major General John Love, Commanding General of the 2nd Marine Division will speak. 25 sailors from Norfalk VA and 25 Marines from the 2nd Marine division in NC will also participate.

More than 150 Greenburgh veterans, most from World War II, have been interviewed for a town history project and each of their half hour interviews can be seen non stop on Greenburgh cable TV local access TV stations this weekend till Tuesday morning.. The interviews will air on channels 75 and 76 on Cablevision and on channels 34 and 35 on Verizon FIOS. Copies of the interviews are also available for viewing at the Greenburgh Library.
