PETER OLEY TURKEY TROT RACE IN IRVINGTON SUNDAY--OOPS, WRONG E MAIL FOR LEGISLATOR
Release Date: November 21, 2015

PETER OLEY TURKEY TROT IS THE MOST SCENIC RACE---IT'S TOMORROW  SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 22

OOPS, WRONG E MAIL FOR LEGISLATOR SHIMSKY

Every year prior to Thanksgiving I look forward to running the Peter K. Oley Turkey Trot race in Irvington. It's fun, scenic. We run past beautiful mansions and homes, try catching our breath as we run up some hills and down others. We also get to enjoy running on the spectacular Old Croton Aqueduct- a dirt path towards the end of the route.. It's only 2.5 miles of terrific fun running. Adults and children participate.

I have run the NYC marathon once, some half marathons and many shorter runs over the years. This is favorite!  ...probably because the route is so spectacular.

Coach Peter Oley was a legend in Irvington and in the region --he inspired many people to pursue and enjoy sports. He was an amazing leader and role model.

I hope to see you tomorrow ---and don't laugh at me if I'm the tortoise in the pack, running slow but finishing!

Received the following e mail from Legislator Shimsky. I copied an e mail from the Greenburgh Nature Center  earlier today encouraging residents to e mail their legislator. The nature center published Mary Jane's home e mail by mistake and I did not notice that when I shared the e mail. Sorry, Mary Jane!

Please correct and resend this email.  The GNC included my home email by mistake, and it's proving to make responding to everyone more cumbersome.  The correct address is shimsky@westchesterlegislators.com
