Many residents inquire about the status of the efforts to connect the South and North County trails in Elmsford. This is an update from the county parks dept. Many cyclists and pedestrians enjoy the trail. They have advocated that the missing links be connected....
South County trail connection update---project to connect the South and North County Trailways in Elmsford.
Please be advised that the Westchester County Department of Planning is currently preparing the design and contract drawings to construct this section of the trailway and will be making a request for funds later this year or early in 2014. Construction should be complete and the pathway open sometime in 2015.
