Lifeguard Training and Certification

Lifeguard Training Classes and Certification

 

The Town of Greenburgh Department of Parks and Recreation will host a lifeguard-training program for  6 weeks, beginning Sunday, July 11th from 4:30 to 7:30pm at the Anthony F. Veteran Park Aquatic Facility located in Ardsley, NY.  

This course will the  teach life saving skills and techniques, along with CPR and First Aid skills necessary for becoming a lifeguard. Upon successful completion of the course, students will hold the necessary certification for being a lifeguard in New York State. Participants that register for this program must be able to demonstrate the freestyle, elementary backstroke, sidestroke, and breaststroke to be considered for course participation.  Attendance is mandatory for everyone enrolled. 

   The deadline for entry into this program Saturday, July 10th.  Please
