parades in Hartsdale/Fairview tomorrow...wolf seen on Dobbs Ferry Road...Pump station back to normal

E HARTSDALE AVE PARADE TOMORROW..FAIRVIEW PARADE TOMORROW
There are two Memorial Day parades tomorrow in unincorporated Greenburgh. The Hartsdale Fire Department holds its annual Memorial Day tribute at 10 AM at the Hartsdale Train station on Monday, followed by a parade down E Hartsdale Ave to the Hartsdale Fire department on Central Ave. If you reside on E Hartsdale Ave and have to get to an appointment, it is recommended that you leave a little early or wait till the parade ends (the parade usually lasts under a half hour). The Greenville Fire department, scouts and other groups also participate in this parade. A highlight: the Hartsdale Fire department gives free ice creams to participants at the conclusion of the parade.

At 11 a.m., the Fairview Fire Department there will be another parade on Tarrytown Road from the Fairview fire department headquarters. The parade proceeds down to the memorial at the Greenburgh police station. The village of Hastings had their Memorial Day parade this afternoon. All the other villages within Greenburgh have their parades tomorrow morning.

WOLF SEEN YESTERDAY ON DOBBS FERRY ROAD
I received two calls from constituents yesterday who saw a wolf on Dobbs Ferry Road. I contacted the police chief who advised me that wolves are protected species under NYS law.

As with Coyotes wolves are protected under state conservation law and unless they attack a person or pet they are free to roam.
