The NY Senate has approved Greenburgh’s home rule request to create a 3rd part time Judge. However, the NY State Assembly still has not approved the legislation – it’s in committee. Both houses of the State Legislature have to approve the home rule request and the Governor has to sign the legislation.
The town has obtained video conferencing equipment. We hope to have the video conferencing center at Town Hall operational sometime this summer. I’ll be asking the Town Board for permission to rent space at the Town Hall to residents of Greenburgh who would like to use our video conferencing center at Town Hall. Avoid a trip to Europe, Asiaor around the country. Spend more time with your family. Communicate via video conferencing! The video conferencing will also be used by town officials to communicate with leaders.
