Richard Garfunkel, Deputy Supervisor for Liaisons and a member of the Greenburgh Parks and Recreation Board, was at Wednesday nights Town Board meeting—listening to some constituent feedback about the conditions at Travis Park. Within 12 hours after the meeting Mr. Garfunkelmet with Parks and Recreation Department staff and conducted a site inspection. Mr. Garfunkel found that much of the park was in excellent shape. The Parks and Recreation Board will be discussing this at Wednesday nights Parks meeting at 7:15 PM at the Multipurpose Building, Veteran Town Park. Any resident who has any comments about the conditions of this park should feel free to attend.
I’m very grateful to Mr. Garfunkel for his very quick follow up action. This is a perfect example of how our liaison program works. We pride ourselves on taking every complaint very seriously.
