To hear comments from the public regarding amending Chapter 277 of the Laws of New York, 1952, related to the Hartsdale Public Parking District
Should the members of the Hartsdale Parking district be required to be PROPERTY OWNERS? I would like the Town Board to ask the NYS Legislature to amend the law so that spouses of property owners and, tenants could be appointed to the parking district. I think the current law is discriminatory. Another possible amendment to the law: Should members of the parking district be elected to their position by either the residents or commuters who use the parking facilities? Are there any other possible amendments you’d like to recommend regarding the Hartsdale parking district? If yes—please attend the meeting this coming Wednesday night.
