I received an e mail from Elder Florence Preston of Christ Temple Church. She advised me that the church is organizing a turkey drive to help Greenburgh residents who cannot afford a turkey and fixings. If you would be willing to donate turkeys and other food fixings that can be given to needy families please call 948-4596 or e mail
SECTEMPLE@aol.com. The church is also organizing a toy drive for the holiday season.
One does not have to be a member of the church to receive the turkeys or toys.
These are difficult times for many families who are struggling due to the poor economy. Please help your neighbors enjoy the holiday season. If dropping off the donations are difficult for you – the church will pick up the donations from your home or office.
