Some residents of Hartsdale had contacted me earlier in the month suggesting that neighbors be advised in advance of hydrant testing. Received the following e mail from the incoming Hartsdale fire chief, Ed Rush.

I got your note regarding using your e-mail list to notify the residents about hydrant testing. That is a great idea. We have three days of testing left, so if you can send out a notice it would be great. The dates and areas are:
9/29 Ridge Road area and the streets off of it.
9/30 Woods End to Beechwood area and South Washington
10/1 Lakeview to Jane between Central and Columbia
Next year, we will give you the entire schedule in advance and you can send it out.
